SofTec I.T. has an outstanding client in the Columbia, SC area seeking several top notch developers with the following skillsets and work experiences:


Primary Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for developing new software and supporting custom software, including the integration with multiple existing related systems.
The candidate will be responsible for developing enhancements for custom applications as required to support business unit initiatives.

Required General Skills:
2-3+ years of IT development experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including non-technical people. Able to gather and document user requirements.


Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with IT development team, support staff, project team, customers, and third party software vendors; with the ability to produce clear, comprehensive documentation of applications and process.



Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to clearly set priorities and to quickly adjust to customer driven changes - requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet dynamic business needs.



Ability to meet deadlines, with demonstrated ability to be productive with minimal supervision.


Required Technical Skills:
Developer-.NET C#
2+ years computer application programming experience with at least 2 years of .Net /C# development experience, strong analytical skills including problem solving, root cause analysis and systems thinking.

Experience designing, coding, and testing applications using an object-oriented methodology.



Experience in the following areas are preferred: - Object oriented (OO) analysis, design, and development - MS Visual Studio .NET - Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1 - Scripting: VBScript, Jscript, JavaScript - ASP.NET - C#, MS C++, VB.NET - HTML, DHTML, XML/XSLT.
