Description: This position will focus on developing SOA-based solutions using C++.

 

Responsibilities:Support existing adapters for the enterprise product. This is a SOA-based solutions.Work with one other developer as a peer for this product developmentMaintaining bugs, defects on the product as determined through testing and customer issuesMake custom enhancements per customer requestsMake general product enhancements as determined by Product Manager and customer feedbackThis product connects to other enterprise products that are the industry standard, as these products are upgraded or enhanced, developer will update and enhance these adaptersCreate new adapters as other products enter market and opportunities arise

 

Required Skills:3-5 years of C++ development experience in a Unix Environment Basic understanding of JAVA programming Good working knowledge of relational databases and SQL Experience with XML and XSL Good understanding of CORBA Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and development methodologies Ability to analyze requirements, product requirements and develop system designBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

 

Pluses:Experience with JAVA application servers (i.e. WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat)

2 Experience with Geological and Geophysical applications (such as Landmark,   Schlumberger, Paradigm)

3.  Upstream oil & gas industry experience a plus.
