Sr C++ Engineer – Mobile Engineer
 
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on the mobile web browser operating on millions of devices around the world. The Browser redefines how mobile users navigate the web through an open source tools that operates on multiple devices. The Browser Engineering Team plays a key role for continued push in the emerging mobile internet industry.
 
We are seeking a talented senior software engineer to work with an established software engineering and team in the development new tools and widgets for browser enhancement. These tools will advance the everyday use of the internet and other devices.
 
Responsibilities:
 
· Responsible for specifying, planning, reporting, designing and testing in project area
· Has developed specialist knowledge in one area
· Works in a product creation project with responsibility of specifying a component or multiple components of a product or several products
· Participates with team members in solving engineering problems
· Solves complex engineering problems of own technology area
· Typically participates in reviews of own or neighboring projects
· May undertake technical training responsibilities 
Requirements Requirements:
 
· Extensive experience in C++, Object Oriented Analysis and Design is essential.
· Knowledge of core web technologies like HTML, XML, DOM, CSS, JavaScript, RSS etc. and protocols like HTTP is required.
· Experience in embedded application development, Symbian OS and appreciation of small device constraints is preferred.
· Knowledge of wireless technologies like GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, GPRS, EDGE and other mobile applications like Messaging, PIM etc. is desirable.
· Capacity to think 'out of the box', possibly leading to inventions / patents.
· Exposure to working with Open Source Communities or professional Open Source development and tools is an advantage.  Mike Bellino
