C# .NET Developer (Junior or Mid-Level)

PROGRAMMER/DEVELOPER

 

The Office of the Cook County Assessor (CCAO) is seeking applications for a Programmer/Developer. The Programmer/Developer will provide full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) solutions for the CCAO. The Programmer/Developer will consult with users, advise them and provide technical assistance to help define their needs by obtaining their program requirements. The Programmer/Developer will be required to design and review program specifications, create documentation, customize and implement applications and systems for user departments. The Programmer/Developer will test applications and systems, provide maintenance, software changes and enhancements. The Programmer/Developer will assume responsibility for multiple projects as directed. Perform assignments and duties as required or assigned. May work extended hours and weekends as assigned. Must have the ability to write with precision and communicate information of a technical nature in a clear manner.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

· Must be self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.





 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

· Experience (Academic or Professional) programming with any of the .NET Languages (C#, ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET).

· Experience (Academic or Professional) working with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access).

· Experience (Academic or Professional) with one or more of the following: Visual Basic, ASP, C++, HTML, JavaScript, SQL

 

 

SALARY:  $43,014 - $60,991 Annually
