Job Description:

Reporting direct to the Allflex USA North American IT Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for adding new functionality to an existing internal application as well as helping with the development of several new large scale projects.  He/She will integrate data communications systems between Allflex USA and its clients.

 


Duties:
The successful candidate will have experience in software development utilizing C#.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.  Any experience with Delphi, Web Services, BizTalk, or Great Plains will be advantageous but not required.  He/She should be capable of completing projects with little direction and requirements gathering. He/She should be open to learning new technologies beyond their current skill set.  Knowledge of the Agricultural Animal Health industry whilst not essential will be an advantage.

 

Required Qualifications:



· Associate’s degree in a computer-related discipline with 2-4 years related experience or 6-8 years related experience in lieu of a degree, in the following areas.

· C# .NET development.

· SQL Server database design and development (queries and stored proc’s).

· Object-oriented design and development.

· SDLC

· User support of developed applications, including phone and remote support.

· User training and documentation.

· Ability to recognize and respond to business critical issues dynamically and quickly.

· Ability to work independently with a general guidance.

· Capable of recommending practical business solutions to fit Allflex USA’s needs.

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

· Borland Delphi software development.

· ASP.NET development.

· Web services development.

· MCSD

· Knowledge of the Agricultural Animal Health industry.

· Great Plains knowledge.

· SQL Server Reporting Services development.

· BizTalk 2006 Development w/ RFID.
