Job Title: C#, .Net 2.0, XML Developer / Test Engineer - NJKCKSQEI

Location: Arlington, VA 22201

Specific Responsibilities:

You will develop a test strategy, design test tool harnesses, and write test plans for a family of websites and associated applications as well as associated tools and applications.  You will apply the principals of smart, risk-based testing, manual testing, integrated testing, black box testing, white box testing, functional testing, security testing, performance testing, and other good QA practices while being hands on and ensuring testing is being done in parallel with test planning and development.  Other duties may include researching and making recommendations on testing tools.  You will be a senior contributor and are expected to work as an integral part of the development team.

 

Necessary Skills / Experience:

 Think on your feet, and offer creative solutions for solving software issues. Explain and create an effective test strategy for large Customer-Facing websites. 8+ years of Quality Engineering or Development experience and strong programming experience with Java & SQL. Web Services testing experience must include a deep knowledge of XML and Data Transformation. Qualified candidates have experience testing content management systems, data warehouses, and DB ports. Experience in designing and developing test automation tools using Java. White Box testing experience, and good scripting skills (i.e. Unix Shell, etc.). Familiarity with a combination of: Ajax, CSS, XSLT, C#, .NET 2.0, Oracle, SQL, JavaScript. Proficient with testing or developing products on a .NET 2.0 framework.
