JOB SUMMARY:

The OMS Group is seeking highly motivated smart individuals with good technical and debugging skills. The candidates will have to be very good software developers with in-depth knowledge of the skills mentioned below. The ideal candidate would be able to work on multiple projects and manage his/her time accordingly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

** Maintain the Flextrade products by constantly making bug fixes and enhancements. This involves very in depth knowledge of C/C++.
** Support the Flextrade products by helping the Client-Support team debug crashes in production. This requires the team member to have debugging skills and also maintain his/her composure in a tense environment.
** Come up with new design ideas and product ideas to give better offerings to Flextrade clients.

REQUIRED SKILLS:


** Bachelor's Degree in Technology or higher with at least 4 years of experience in C++.
** In depth knowledge of Unix/Linux, Windows, Shell/Perl.
** Good team player.
** Motivation and self-determination to learn and grow.
** Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
** Ability to work under pressure.


DESIRABLE SKILLS:

** Experience in Financial Services or a related field, preferrably a buy-side firm
** Knowledge of the FIX and CMS protocols.
