CHC Sales Rep- Northeast Region

Sage Software Healthcare Division has an immediate opening for a CHC Sales Rep- Northeast Region Summary This position is responsible for managing all aspects of sales for Sage Software in the Northeast account territory to Community Health and non-profit healthcare provider organizations.  Residence can be in any Northeast U. S. city.Responsibilities Manages all aspects of sales for Sage Software to Community Health and non-profit healthcare provider organizations.. Calls on existing customers as well as new business opportunities, in an effort to build and maintain relationships that will retain and up sell into the client base and generate new business opportunities. Generates leads and maintains pipeline, creates a territory plan to exceed annual sales quota, networks with CHC and non-profit health care organization influencers, PCAs, consultants and existing clients. Works local and national trade shows. Maintains an understanding of trends, policies, funding sources and issues within the community health and federally funded healthcare industry that directly affect FQHCs and Community Health Centers nationally. Responsibilities include prospecting, on-site client discovery/needs assessments, product demonstrations (product specialists are available to assist), creating solution proposals, coordinating site visits, forecasting and meeting sales quota.QualificationsEducation:  Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent industry experience.Experience:  Experience selling Practice Management Systems or EMR/Clinical systems.  Expertise working with FQHC/CHC, Planned Parenthood or with other non-profit, community based healthcare provider organizations is highly preferred.  Skills & Certifications:  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel and Power Point.  Exceptional communication and presentation skills.  Basic understanding of hardware and software operating systems, platforms and networks.Travel: Extensive in the Northeast states Healthcare information technology is exploding as physicians across the nation adopt technology to improve profitability and enhance the excellent healthcare they provide.
