CMMI System Administrator

JOB OPPORTUNITY: CMMI System Administrator / Policies and Procedures AnalystAlliant Techsystems (ATK) Tactical Propulsion and Controls Systems has a challenging opportunity for a CMMI System Administrator in Elkton, MD. This Division of ATK specializes in the production of tactical propulsion systems.JOB DUTIES:- The CMMI System Administrator will lead the implementation of the CMMI model leading to accreditation at Maturity Level 3 in December 2008 at Elkton with additional follow-on implementation in 2009 at ABL and GASL locations. - The incumbent will coordinate the organizational focus, process definition, and organizational training process areas of CMMI v.1.2. - Responsibilities also include establishing a Process Excellence Group to maintain a Process Asset Library, review proposed Policy and Procedure changes, and chair the Tailoring Board. -The CMMI System Administrator will establish, collect, and analyze organizational measures and make presentations to management. - This position will coordinate with an internal auditor and analyze the closure of CARS. - The incumbent will also work with the lead assessor from SAIC for successful SCAMPI A and subsequent maturity level accreditation.REQUIREMENTS:- BS/BA or equivalent related experience. - Experience should include CMMI implementation experience and day-to-day hands-on application of the CMMI model V1.2. - Candidates should have CMMI auditor experience and be trained as an assessor. - Candidates must have participated and successfully led an organization through a SCAMPI A assessment. Experience setting up and populating a PIID is required. - Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
