This position will establish priorities and provide overall strategic direction to the operation concerning government services. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of CMS regulations and proposed regulations and will be responsible for ensuring the company’s Medicare/Medicaid services are compliant with federal and state CMS regulatory requirements. Review Medicare/Medicaid BPO Services to determine the organization is delivering within the guidelines. CMS Regulatory Compliance position will be responsible for making complex interpretations. This position will establish and maintain effective business relationships with CMS regulators, third-party advisors, and other business partners/vendors. They will oversee investigations and resolutions of complex compliance issues and communicate with CMS regulators as appropriate. Analyze and identify CMS regulatory, financial, and operational risk for the organization. Develop and/or recommend CMS compliance-related polices and procedures and assist with audits or compliance reviews of operational areas against documented procedures. QualificationsRequires 7 to 10 years CMS regulatory experience in the healthcare payer industry. Must have advanced knowledge of CMS regulations.
