Purpose of Position:
The Professional Services team at RedDot Solutions is looking for a strong web technician who can work well in the field. Are you the kind of person who does what it takes to make things work? Specialists are responsible for the fulfillment of client projects using RedDot software. You will develop and deploy enterprise-scale web applications that provide content management, personalization, and integrations with third party vendors.


Job Description:
The RedDot Product Specialist (PS) is responsible for implementing deliverables of RedDot Professional Services Engagements. The PS reports to the Director of Professional Services, but works on a daily basis with RedDot project managers. The PS is an expert in RedDot software, proposes and implements solutions, troubleshoots customer problems and creates new tools and extensions to fulfill customer needs. The PS uses web technologies and RedDot software extensions to meet technical challenges. The PS documents their work, participates in peer-review for quality control, and reports on project status to project managers. The PS communicates directly with customers to resolve and explain issues and travels to customer sites as needed to perform onsite services.


Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills is a must
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Expert in standard web technologies, HTML, XSLT, JavaScript
• Experience in web development, ASP in VBScript, ASP.NET in C#

This is a full-time position based in New York, NY and requires travel.
