SUMMARY:

  Overarching responsibility for technical issues and directions across all departments of the company.  Responsibilities include coordinating technology implementations across various departments, and ensuring an agile migration path as technologies change over time and key personnel evolve through their career trajectories.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Mange and oversee internal technologies and services to all departments within the company.

Manage and oversee all web services and applications that deliver our client's content products to their partners and customers.

Direct and oversee all software development - both tools for internal use and those licensed to external customers.  This will include the direct management of a team of engineers.

Design and continuously evolve the optimum technical infrastructure to meet our client's business goals.

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's Degree in computer science (Master's Degree preferred)

10 years overall experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong and creative technical vision for building efficient systems

Deep understanding of Web Services and the range of technologies it can ential

Strong grounding in all Microsoft core technologies, particularly C#, Windows Forms, WPF, WCF, and ASP.net.
