Solution Definition and Marketing

Definition of high value (to the customer and to Nuance) solutions for mobile and multimodal care market. Development, packaging and launch of these solutions. Value proposition creation. Sales and SE enablement through training and marketing collateral development. Demo development, ownership and and marketing. Analysis, implementation and communication of appropriate pricing and sales compensation models for the solutions. Deployment model analysis, recommendations.

 

Market Dynamics

Competitive analysis at product, services, solution and corporate levels. Report back to BU management and other stakeholders within Nuance on dynamics, along with recommendations of best next steps. Ongoing analysis of the market for mobility for the enterprise, including adoption of consumer and employee-oriented mobile applications. Analyze and report to BU management on how other companies are solving industry challenges.

 

Marketing Program Development

Develop creative and compelling marketing programs, aligned with market maturity, that provide clear differentiation for Nuance in the mobile space. For example; early adopter program, potentially developing into a standard go to market model for enterprise mobile solutions; versioned programs to drive growth in well targeted market segments.

 

Product Management

Ensuring Care BU needs are met in the product line, pricing, distribution channel. This means coordinating with the relevant product managers and engineering contacts to ensure Nuance's enabling technologies support the requirements of differentiated mobile and multimodal solutions for markets targeted by the Care BU. It also requires coordination with Nuance professional services to ensure that they are able to deliver the solutions that are sold in the target markets.

 

Services Management

Coordination with Nuance professional services to ensure that they are able to deliver the solutions that are sold in the target markets. Definition and refinement of services needed for the new mobile care market.

 

Sales Support

Field support for strategic customer (e.g. Wells Fargo) and partner (e.g. SFDC) deals. Case study development. Development of customer and partner oriented presentations, and other sales tools.

 

Ecosystem Development

New partnership development, especially as it pertains to build/buy/partner decisions for solution creation. Development of a partner, customer and user community around Nuance Mobie solutions for enterprise care.

Ensuring that offers are being used appropriately in campaigns executed by the Field Marketing and Marketing Communications teams
Taking offers that require engineering investment through the company's gated product development and release process

will also contribute to the development and implementation of the business strategy for the Customer Care business unit. The work will be split broadly into two segments. For 75% of the time, he will be focus on the mobile marketing strategy for the Care BU. For the remaining 25%,will work on other areas of the Care business, including providing insight and support to colleagues in the team on technical, sales, channel and other issues; competitive analysis in the broader Care business, and on strategy and program development with colleagues and with BU leadership.

 

-12+ years technology marketing experience in communications, self-service, or customer care
-Ability to express the value of complex solutions in terms of their business value to customers
-A history of creating and developing offers, and driving them into the target market
-Significant experience in services and/or product management and marketing
-Interpersonal and relationship building skills across all levels of the enterprise
-Analytical and business skills, with the ability to craft and justify relevant offers and messaging
-Excellent communication skills - the Offer Marketing Manager should be comfortable presenting to large audiences and interacting with senior customer and partner executives
-Ability to work cross-functionally, to create consensus, and to motivate teams to action
-Relevant business qualifications are a plus, but we primarily want to hear from you if you have appropriate industry experience
-At least a bachelor's degree, preferably in business or engineering fields
