Change Coordinator

Change Coordinator Duration: 6 MonthsLocation: Houston, TXAs part of the Change Coordination team, champion the global, SOX compliant Change Management processes and ensure the business understands the benefits. Review the change/release schedule and coordinate communication of all changes to stakeholders Participate in the support of a global standard Application Change Management Process. Protect the production environment through use of formal procedures to ensure all software changes are traceable, secure and authorized/tested versions are installed. Specific activities include: Monitor/participate in the Application Change Management Process including receiving and approving (includes but is not limited to check/challenge changes on correctiveness, completeness, rules for implementation, impact to the business, check approvals ) Review and evaluate emergency changes, understand the risk of not doing the change, and determine if the emergency is warranted and conforms to established processes. Review outstanding Change Requests awaiting consideration or awaiting action; review implemented Changes to ensure that they have met their objectives, and refer back any that have been backed out or have failed. Analyze Change records to determine any trends or apparent problems. Seek rectification with relevant parties. Team player on Regional Change & Release Management team and Global virtual team of Change Coordination to drive overall Change Management. Experience with Change & Release management processes & enabling tools Proven ability to work collaboratively & influence others in a cross-functional, multi-application, multi-service providers environment Demonstrated understanding of application support processes, including ERP technologies Broad understanding of the overall application landscape Functional understanding of the other support processes, e.g., Service Level, Incident & Problem Management Proven ability to deal with conflict and ambiguity effectively Proven ability to handle many concurrent tasks with appropriate priority
