Client Care Technical Analyst (196040-618)

Open Solutions Inc. has a full suite of software products and services designed to allow banks, thrifts and credit unions to better compete in today’s aggressive financial services marketplace, and expand and tap their trusted financial relationships, client affinity, community presence and personalized service.

We seek a Client Care Technical Analyst for our Client Care Group at our North American headquarters in Glastonbury, CT.

Our Technical Analysts are second-tier Client Care technicians who provide detailed analysis of issues they receive from our Customer Support team, who have had the first contact from our clients.

As an Open Solutions Client Care Technical Analyst, you will:

 * recreate the condition on the test database
 * use remote access or VPN to dial into the financial institution
 * write scripts using SQL to analyze bank data
 * write scripts to update and correct data when appropriate
 * submit system bugs and enhancements to development to be corrected on behalf of customers
 * interact with the Development Group relative to systems bugs and enhancements
 * provide after-hours pager support on a rotating basis for emergency issues relative to the end-of-day processing

To qualify for this position, you must have:

 * high school diploma or GED
 * at least three years of experience in financial services environment in back-office operations, researching issues related to loans, retail or operations processing
 * strong analytical and research and problem-solving skills
 * familiarity with Microsoft Office products and SQL
 * knowledge of Open Solutions TCBS/TCCUS core applications
 * ability to read pl/sql stored procedures and sqr
 * ability to write SQL scripts
 * knowledge of connecting to Client database's through VPN/RAS would be most beneficial.
