Clinical Information Systems Analyst V

UC Davis Health System, Clinical Information Systems (CIS), located in Sacramento, CA is seeking a project analyst team member to perform under the general supervision of the Project Manager.  Working in one or more of the following areas, incumbent will be responsible for: specific functions and activities related to the clinical/business operation process redesign, including analyzing, redesigning and implementing specific processes to the EMR; designing and setting up the software configuration; defining system data and reporting needs; and supporting rollout of the EMR.. 

Demonstrated experience with Information Systems implementation, operational or development (technical or nontechnical) experience.  Knowledge of and experience in the field of healthcare preferred.  Analytical skill and experience in technology design and implementation, and site assessment and identification.  Ability to work effectively with others, exhibiting service-oriented behavior.  Detail-oriented with proven ability to organize and communicate thoughts clearly.  Ability to develop and implement processes where needed.  Effective and proven analytical skills.  Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to identify obstacles and recommend reasonable alternative to overcome challenges.  Ability to work effectively in dynamic and frequently changing environment.  Ability to recognize the need for and maintain security of confidential information; exercise judgment, tact, and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information or situations.  Ability to exercise independent judgment and personal initiative, and accept responsibility for decision and actions.  Knowledge and understanding of University policies and procedures (preferred).  Ability to produce high quality deliverables and perform at a high level.
