Intermountain is recognized as a leading healthcare system and a model for what is right in American medicine.This position performs technical support, assists in technical installations, maintenance, testing and documentation for Intermountain Healthcare Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). Will provide 2nd level LIS support for direct problem solving resolution with end users. With direction from the LIS Leadership Team, coordinates all support and maintenance for all Intermountain facility labs. The position provides technical expertise and consultation for feasibility of LIS enhancement requests from the laboratories. The position will understand clinical and regulatory requirements and will facilitate efficient, standardized processes in the LIS environment. This position will participate in Intermountain system wide LIS projects as assigned by the LIS Leadership Team.BS degree in Medical Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust adhere to department values, policies, procedures and security/confidentiality requirements  Preferred skillsAbility to troubleshoot and develop coordinated steps for problem solvingPrevious programming and/or IS experienceFamiliarity with LifeLine, PowerPath, and/or Sunquest laboratory platformClinical laboratory experience
