Position: Cognos Business Intelligence Consultant

Position Type:  Contract

We have a client looking for a Cognos Administrator.  Our client is looking for someone to perform enhancement and maintenance for their Cognos 7 application. Our client is currently experiencing issues opening and saving cubes.  Our client is also looking to migrate to Cognos version 8. This person would be responsible for analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues about performance and data retrieval.

 

Listed below are some specific responsibilities a consultant can expect while working on:

Gathering and analyzing business requirements
*Installing and configuring software
*Delivering test plans and testing applications
*Migrating the applications to production
*Transferring knowledge to the client

Required Skills:3+ years experience with Cognos vs. 7 developmentExperience using Report Net with burstingExperience with Framework managerPrevious experience resolving problems with bursting and cubes
