RSA, The Security Division of EMC, was formed in September 2006 following EMC Corporation’s acquisitions of RSA Security and Network Intelligence.Job Summary  Summary of Position:  RSA’s Commercial Sales team is seeking a District Manager for the Southern Region. The manager will oversee a field sales team responsible for the sales of all RSA products and associated Professional Services in the region.   Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Professional sales training courses. Experience: Successful candidates will have at least 6 years software sales experience in a high tech environment, and at least 3 years in a direct sales management role managing a minimum of 5 direct field sales reps. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of quantifiable success as judged by W2 statements.Candidates must be detail-oriented and possess excellent written and oral skills..Additional requirements include:·  Proven ability to learn and apply technical product knowledge in a sales and training setting·  History of leading and motivating sales teams.·  Willingness and ability to travel overnight multiple times per week·  Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a complex, high transaction business·  Understanding of relevant market trends and opportunities·  Excellent and proven presentation and negotiation skills  Nature and Scope of Work: Manager is responsible for the combined performance of the team and for ensuring full team participation in meeting sales targets.  Specific responsibilities include: ·  recruiting and training sales staff; ·  supervising, motivating and monitoring team performance; ·  setting, tracking and meeting quotas; ·  accurately forecasting to senior sales management; ·  networking with other sales managers; ·  building relationships with customers; ·  negotiating license agreements and pricing; ·  co-developing account strategies; ·  maintaining detailed knowledge of the company's products; ·  tracking competitors’ activity.
