Compliance Support Engineer

A compliance support engineer provides technical support related to the system family of products (SDS/CMP/ACSC/Mind Play) to the various regulatory agencies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide product knowledge and documentation by defining product features and product hardware, software, firmware, vendor product and systems prerequisites, co-dependencies, release level interactions, product incompatibilities, known bugs and work around solutions. Provide technical assistance to staff and regulators for installing, configuring, trouble-shooting and upgrading system products. Experience: Two years gaming or casino industry experience. Experience in product support including system and software application management, computer hardware and network management. Technical mastery in product area including configuration installation and trouble-shooting. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Has ability to mange issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management. Highly organized. Ability to work with others to accomplish business objectives. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical journals. Ability to respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies. College level math proficiency. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or design form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Familiarity with various operating systems, including OS/40-0, UNIX and Windows. Familiarity with networking and configuring SNA and TCPIP communications desired. Familiarity with programming concepts and DB2 desired.
