Computer Systems Engineer

Activities include Help Desk, Remote Support and some On-Site Engineering.    It is essential that this person be able to work with other Engineers and interact effectively with customers.

 

 

 Required skills and experience as follows:

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

·  Systems Engineering, MCP, CCNA, CCE a plus

·  3-5 years experience in Systems (IT)

·  Experience with Active Directory & Group Policy Management

·  Hands on Systems Administration skills in current Windows and Unix environments (Server 2003/2008, SonicWall, HP, Dell, Symantec, Cirtix)

· Knowledge of DNS for use in Internal and External name resolution

·  Proven knowledge of internetworking protocols primarily TCP/IP

·  Excellent Customer Service Interaction

·  Demonstrated capability in IT Server/Desktop systems

·  Strong analytical skills

·  Excellent communication skills

·  Organized and Focused on meeting deadlines.

·  Ability to provide technical leadership to teams in multiple locations

·  An initiator, demonstrating ability to work independently and showing strength in a team environment

·  Ability to balance multiple priorities

Compensation is 35k to 45k and Includes Health/Medical/401K/Profit Sharing/15 Personal Days plus Holidays.

No relocation package will be offered for this position.
