Consulting Practice Manager - Southern CA

For more than 25 years, Westin Engineering, Inc. (Westin) has been providing professional services to guide water, wastewater, public works, electrical utilities and other public agencies to optimize processes, retain knowledge, meet compliance requirements, serve customers and improve asset life.

The Consulting Practice Manager is responsible for providing technical consulting and management of IT improvement programs for Westin's clients. The projects may involve multiple applications including financial management, asset management, maintenance management, customer information, laboratory information, industrial waste pretreatment and geographic information systems.

Job Responsibilities
Manage Westin project performance and delivery while achieving customer expectationsProvide scope and cost control Lead project team Mentor project team members Achieve utilization, project revenue and project profit objectives Manage all necessary activities for successfully developing and managing client relationships for existing accountsJob Requirements
15 + years of consulting and/or project management for technology-related projects in water/wastewater utilities or public sector agencies Experience with ESRI ArcGIS products – ArcView, ArcEditor, ArcInfo, and/or ArcIMS Solid understanding and work experience as a technical lead defining system requirements and implementing software packages Experience in the following: Managing client expectations and service delivery Project Planning and Control Business Process Improvement Client billing and receivable management Working with established project management methodologies Experience mentoring, inspiring team work and growing a project teamExcellent written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner B.S. in Business, Information Technology or Engineering or related field, advanced education degree a plus, registered professional a plus Strong skills with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, experience with business process modeling tools a plusFor information, please visit our website at: www.westinsolutions.com
