Contracts Administrator

Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Other Relevant Work Experience: 7+ to 10 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree 4+ MONTH CONTRACT POSITIONThe Contracts Administrator in Procurement will fulfill the role of reviewing contracts for upcoming divestitures. These agreements will govern both the procurement of goods and services and long-term strategic relationships between the company and key suppliers. This person will review a pertinent list of information required by the Divestitures Team. This list includes, but is not limited to: assignment, transfers, term, costs, and other related information as deemed necessary per divestiture. The person will complete deal profile forms with the necessary information retrieved from the agreements and submit it to the Divestitures Team in a timely manner. Interpretation and development of company policy and legal language consistent with company needs, and in conjunction with the Legal Department will be done on a regular basis. With limited direction, initiates preparation of contracts for review and communicates progress daily with core team members. Must be able to understand basic principles of Contract Law and interpret legal language in clauses ranging from service level guarantees to binding arbitration. This is a non-management position requiring independent judgment and the ability to work with people of all levels within the company.Experience - External:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required - 6-8 years experience in purchasing and contract administration environment. - Prior experience in the technology/ telecom industry preferred - Experience in negotiating and administering a wide variety of agreements including, but not limited to professional services and telecom services -  Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Ability to interact with personnel at all levels within the company and within other companies - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Ability to multi-task and manage competing demands and limited timelines in a fast-paced environment and supporting a large internal customer base - Commercial contracting background preferred - Prior international contracting experience preferred CANDIDATE MUST PASS BOTH A CREDIT AND CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK
