The Nuance Corporate Communications Manager is a highly influential communications professional who possesses extraordinary verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage comprehensive programs and projects. Candidates must be self-motivated, proactive, and creative and should relish in the challenge, opportunity and satisfaction from working in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Develop, implement and manage corporate communications programs that showcase Nuance solutions in mobile industries, convey product messages, reinforce corporate image, and fortify overall positioning for Nuance's Mobile Division.
• Align tone and strategy of communications activity with company's vision and business objectives, working closely with management and functional organizations to shape messages.
• Participate in other communications projects such as analyst relations, marketing programs, employee communications, events marketing and interactive media.
• Develop and manage complementary programs and messages to support activity in field marketing, sales, partner marketing and other functional areas where appropriate.
• Oversee development of core product/corporate materials including message platforms, releases, backgrounders, presentations, speaking points and company correspondence.
• Manage external agency relationships and collaborate with Nuance's international communications teams.
• Write and edit press releases, articles, presentations.
• Participate in trade press, business press and industry analyst relations.
• Provide counsel to management and functional areas on a variety communications issues.
• BA/BS degree in communications, English, journalism or equivalent
• Six to ten years experience in communications, public relations, journalism
• Exceptional writing, editing and oral communications skills
• High degree of creativity, flexibility, energy and enthusiasm
• Must be adept at producing high-quality communications for a variety of audiences
• Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills
• Experience maximizing the use of technology (intranet, internet, email, webinar) for communications programs
