We are adding to our Accounting Department and looking for Corporate Reporting Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for compiling consolidated monthly financial statements & entries, preparing quarterly SEC financials, accounting research and preparation of accounting position memorandum, reviewing staff schedules prepared by senior accountants, training senior accountants, assisting the Controller in implementing projects to improve processes, and working with the external auditors coordinating quarterly and year end close.

 

Education/Training and Experience:

Ideal candidates must have a BBA in Accounting.  CPA designation is strong plus.  Previous public accounting experience and a minimum of 5 years accounting experience is required.  Candidates should have experience with compiling SEC reporting and consolidation, preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP (including statement of cash flows), and SOX requirements.  Experience with Platinum general ledger is a plus, Frx reporting and advanced Excel software skills are required.  Knowledge of accounting principles & practices with regard to deferred revenue and charges and other related principles/practice to the industry is a must.  Candidates should be able to effectively prepare consolidated financial statements and understand inter-company transactions and elimination entries. 

 

We are looking for candidates who have strong reconciliation and financial analysis skills, are detail oriented and use discretion with confidential matters.  Candidates must be able to perform highly responsible, complex work and train senior accountants.  They must efficiently execute projects to improve accounting processes.  They should be knowledgeable of all applicable laws, codes and regulations.
