Crystal Reports Developer 015

The Advanced Crystal Reports Developer resource should be skilled in data mapping, SQL, Report Writing and Presentation.

This resource will need to be experienced in writing data mappings (source to target), writing Crystal XI reports from a report specification, setting up security using the organization's standard structure, set up the schedule of reports, unit testing, and support UAT.  The resource should be experienced in translating high-level requirements into detailed report requirements.  This resource should be experienced in running queries to test business rules, analyzing data looking for anomalies and data quality issues.

Requires advanced knowledge of SQL and basic knowledge of Crystal reports XI.

Due to the complexity of the data, the majority of the reports will require the SQL for the report to be coded first.  This SQL will then either be inputted into a Crystal Reports Command Object or into a database view.  The report developer will need to understand how to nest SQL queries, union SQL queries and pivot SQL queries.


This resource should work independently within a team, receiving general direction with occasional work product reviews.  Ability to learn in a fast paced environment and be flexible in that environment.


Experience using Business Objects XI is a plus.
Experience using .Net is a plus.
The project will entail creating Crystal XI reports using data on an IBM DB2 iSeries and Teradata platform (combining the two).
