Sage Software Healthcare Division has an immediate opening for a Customer Help Desk Technician III SummaryProvides in-depth technical support for application software, operating systems and integrated 3rd party products to End-Users and Resellers via telephone and remote connectivity.  Manages progress, documents and steady communication throughout the life-cycle of a reported issue.  This position may also be filled in the Scottsdale Arizona office.  Responsibilities Responds to customer issues focusing on customer service and efficiency. Provides technical/advanced functional assistance to internal and external customers.  Provides in depth troubleshooting guidance. Organizes and manages workload efficiently and prioritizes projects with minimal supervision. Provides detail bug analysis to Development via bug tracking system.  Communicates priority of fix releases required for assigned application(s) to Development. Assists in technical training of internal support personnel.  Attends training classes and demonstrates application of skills gained. Proactively pursues projects within the Technical Support team that will enhance our business and customer service levels. Under supervision, performs work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involves limited responsibility.QualificationsEducation:  Degree in Computer Science, Business administration or accounting or equivalent work experience. Experience:5 - 7 years business or business related training in a customer service environment.  Some knowledge of PACS is required.   Skills & Certifications:  Technical competencies preferred:  Windows Server and Workstation O/S's, SCO. Linux, and AIX, networking wireless, VPN and WAN connectivity and common peripherals.  Excellent Microsoft Office product knowledge.  Strong oral and written communication skills and problem solving/analytical skills.  Ability to demonstrate detailed knowledge of specific product, advanced programming or O/S skills.  Thorough understanding of our POMIS systems, Clinical and Imaging products and their interaction with operating systems and environments. Healthcare information technology is exploding as physicians across the nation adopt technology to improve profitability and enhance the excellent healthcare they provide.
