3:00am – 11:00am Shift

LIM is looking for a candidate for Data Analyst positions in our office located in Austin, Texas. LIM’s Data Warehouse operates 24/7.

The position is for the following shift 3:00am – 11:00am CST Monday through Friday. Working other shifts may be required, some days, weekends and one to two holidays per year.

The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate in Information Technology or Computer Science with interest and studies in economics and finance.   

Primary responsibilities:

The Data Analyst monitors processing activities of the data warehouse and responds to all problems that may occur to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data to internal and external databases. The Data Analyst will also monitor scripts, or programs, which perform quality control assessments on the data.



The Data Analyst collects reviews and inputs data into a computer processing system, identifies and resolves production related errors, maintains and revises procedural lists, control records and coding schemes to process source data, provides customer support by interfacing with customers by phone to resolve problems concerning data issues.

 

A bachelors’ degree is required. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

 

A basic knowledge of data warehousing

 

Good communications skills

 

Computer experience with MS Windows and Excel required

 

Must be dependable and willing to work different shifts for this 24/7 operation

 

Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision

 

Team player

 

DESIRED SKILLS

 

Knowledge and or experience with financial and energy data

 

Experience with Oracle

 

JAVA, SQL,Unix., preferred
