Data Analyst / Database Developer Oracle / SQL

A+ Consulting currently has an opening for a Data Analyst / Database Developer (Oracle / SQL) in Rochester, NY.

 

Description: The Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining Oracle databases that will have feeds from a variety of remote databases. The person will also have to work with team members to prepare queries to help with their analysis. Looking for help in the creation of a web front end to the local database that will provide connectivity to the database as well as the ability to perform some pre-determined analysis on the data. Database maintenance and SQL (or PL/SQL) programming are the main requirements. Experience with Oracle is needed and experience with MS Access is highly desirable. Any additional programming experience (Java, ASP.NET etc) are a plus. he ability to work as the sole database expert in a team of engineers is a must. The person should also be able to work with team members and be an active participant (help with the data extraction and analysis as well as provide insights into how a data extraction/analysis task may be better done).
