For more information, go to http://www.genesyslab.com/ or visit the industry blog at http://www.betterinteractions.com/. The Data Architect is a member of the architecture team, with responsibility for the data model, strategy, and architecture of Genesys’ suite of products. Responsibilities will include: Defining, communicating, and evolving the data models across Genesys’ entire suite of products; ownership of overall strategies for data collection, persistence, and warehousing; Participation in overall architecture team activities in defining and enhancing Genesys’ overall product architecture; responsibility for leading & driving multiple data-centric architecture team projects to resolution.
Qualifications5 years minimum software/data experience Mandatory Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or closely related field Demonstrable skill in data modeling, persistence, warehousing, and optimization Substantial experience with relational database management systems (Oracle; DB2; Microsoft SQL Server; others) and technologies (SQL; XML; ETLs; ODBC; JDBC; ADO.NET; others) Excellent written and verbal communications skills Driven, high-energy individual committed to success and to making an impact Desirable Skills:Masters degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or closely related field Past architect or lead designer roles on complex database or data warehousing projects Technical mastery in the data modeling/management/warehousing domain, demonstrated through delivery of recognized products, participation and recognition in industry forums or standardization efforts, and/or academic/industry publications Systems software design & development on complex commercial products Experience with C++, Java, design patterns, web-related technologies Data modeling experience in a contact center environment, spanning operational data stores, data marts, and data warehouses Experience with data mart and data warehouse implementations for CRM applications Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
