Job Description: Responsible for analyzing, designing, coding and testing Enterprise Information Services using ACORD standards to facilitate its integration with various AXA strategic applications. Provides on-going production support, utilizing standard procedures and techniques, for Enterprise Information Services whose development complexity is distinguished by the following characteristics: isolated impact, such as within Integrated Business Application, regulatory, innovative product, or compensation changes new & emerging technologiesincomplete functional designmultiple interfaces, including external requirementscustomization of vendor products Develops/Maintains/Executes test scenarios (automated or manual) to validate EIS functionality, performance and integration. Works with senior architects on complex or moderately complex Enterprise Information Service interfaces and devise alternative solutions for deploying interfaces that fit within the projects schedule and budgets. Analyzes business requirements whose impact is isolated to an integrated Business Application, including customization of Vendor products. Design/Develops ACORD based Web Services for integrating Enterprise Information with various applications (internal or external). Codes ACORD based EAI interfaces that meet technology and business requirements and support multiple applications with one deployment. Defines/Developes and promulgates standards for development of ACORD based Web Services interfaces and applications.
Job Requirements: 4-8 Years extensive experience working in J2EE/Web Services development projects involving technologies and standards such as IBM WebSphere /BEA WebLogic Application Server and ACORD etc. Excellent experience in using Rational Development tool framework for developing SOA, J2EE applications.Understanding of Object Oriented Application development is a must and hands-on experience using ACORD standards for SOA application development is highly desirable.Bachelor’s degree or university or equivalent work experience. Experience in financial/insurance services industry is highly desirable.
