Data/System Analyst

Job Description:

w Participate in software client account management by analyzing business requirements data models and client usage of the ASI systems.

w  Define recommendations for improved usage of data and systems.

w  Synthesize customer input into business requirements and translate them into technology functions.

w  Optimize usage of ASI software products to ensure execution of client strategies.

w  Support the requirement analysis and design and implementation of a comprehensive industry centric solution.

w  Define the potential system users and prepare a reporting package focused on their business.

w Participate as necessary in any or all phases of client updates or ASI software product rollouts.

w Interact with clients to ensure that current applications meet changing needs of clients, including sales representatives and sales and marketing management.  May include telephone contact, field visits, participation in Client training, managers and/or POA meetings and periodic client surveys.

 

Qualifications:

w  Computer Science related undergraduate and business management postgraduate degrees are preferred, but not required.

wSolid business or technical background with a minimum of 5 - 7 years pharmaceutical industry experience.

w  5 – 7 years working with pharmaceutical data sources such as IMS Health and/or Wolter’s Kluwer.

w  5 – 7 years working with databases such as Access/MS SQ/SQL Server 2000

w  5 – 7 years working with databases ETL tools such as MKS Toolkit, etc.

w5 – 7 years System Analysis/Design experience.

w3 – 5 years data modeling experience.

w  Applicant must be a U.S. resident or currently able to legally work in the U.S.
