Database Developer & Reporting Services Engineer

Job Summary

Mobile Productivity Inc. is seeking a talented database developer with Microsoft Reporting Services experience for our Orem, UT office to play a key role in implementing our reporting applications from analysis through production.  We are looking for a creative problem solver with critical thinking skills who will be an enthusiastic team player.  The person in this position will be expected to work under minimal supervision and provide high-quality programming, report design and support/testing.  This person must be someone who defines success through delivering high-quality code in a frequent, timely manner.

 
Responsibilities:

Design, build, implement and maintain database driven reports using ADO.NET and MS 

Reporting Services within SQL Server 2005

Enhance the design of various databases to support new application features

Perform design reviews, unit testing and data modeling activities as needed

Help drive stored procedure optimization and index tuning

Prepare technical documentation of database architecture and design


Job Requirements


Requirements:

Minimum 2 years full-time experience as a SQL Server developer

High proficiency needed in writing SQL scripts, views, and stored procedures within SQL Server 2005

Minimum 2 years current experience with Microsoft Reporting Services

Extensive understanding of relational database theory and management systems required

High level of analytical skills

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
