Desktop Support Specialist

Frontline Consulting Services (FCS) has a need for 4 Desktop Support Specialists that will do the following:Install, support and maintain computing environment for mobile and network attached devicesLevel one problem resolution and documentationConfigure, deploy and setup up new PCsUse the SMS Application to resolve issues remotelyConnect equipment to the LAN/WANRespond to and resolve problemsAddress ad-hoc requestAssist with researching and testing new hardware and software products

Required Skills:
High school diploma
Microsoft DST Certification preferred
Four years experience with technology problem resolution skills
Minimum of two years hands on experience with desktop and software installation and XP operating systems
Prefer basic knowledge of networking computers
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Has an understanding of business impacts and priority for client computing support
Understands problem solving techniques and methodologies
Has knowledge of product life cycle from development through implementation and support.
Knowledge of SMS for remote support and Remedy System for problem tracking and reporting.

Travel will be in the NC and SC and expenses are covered
