Developer (VB, SQL)

Description Organization:  Application Outsourcing Location:  Minneapolis, MN (Richfield) People within the Client Operations-AO workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location.  Our AO resources can expect to:  Incorporate skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients. Receive ongoing training to build and extend professional, technical and management skills in all areas Enjoy our comprehensive and generous benefits package  Responsibilities:  Perform the detailed design of application and technical architecture components Develop common test data Configure, build, and test the application or technical architecture components Work with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing Follow the account’s configuration management process for all relevant software items Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project Participate in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers Participate in process improvement efforts Meet budget, schedule requirements and service commitments for assigned deliverables Document the application to facilitate maintenance Track own performance against team goals Monitor, track, and participate in the resolution of tickets as assigned  Qualifications  Basic Qualifications:  2 years VB experience 2 years SQL experience 2 years Maestro/batch experience 2 years MQ experience Preferred Skills:  Experience with Work brain is a plus Professional Skill Requirements:   Proven ability to work independently and as a team member Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving collaborative environment Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service skills Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills Experience with Microsoft Office suite To submit resume online Click Here  Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
