Development Tester - Retail Planning Applications-08001623

Description

 

You will provide testing support for development activities related to SAS’ Retail applications.

 

Included in your duties will be designing and developing test cases, test planning and management, and execution of manual and automated tests.  You will also participate in the evaluation of functional and design specifications, user documentation, and evaluation of test coverage; and provide feedback to development staff on product features, including user interface specifications, product integration, ETL validation, and performance.

QualificationsEssentialBachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field. 4 years of experience in software testing or software development


Essential EquivalentAssociate's degree plus 6 years of the stated essential requirements; orHigh School (GED) plus 8 years of the stated essential requirements
AdditionalExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsGood verbal and written communication skills
PreferencesExperience with Java or Web ServicesExperience with XML or XSLTExperience programming in SAS and or Java, C++Experience with scripting languages such as PerlExperience with standard testing tools for coverage analysis and automationFamiliarity with WebLogic or WebSphere application serversKnowledge of automation and/or performance test tools
