Director - Application Development

Dunn Solutions Group is an IT solutions provider specializing in delivering IT solutions which encompass  Web Design, Business Applications, Business Intelligence, Quality Assurance and Technical Education.

 

Dunn Solution group is looking for a Application Development Technical Project Manager / Director with experience managing software application development projects, hiring and managing staff, visioning IT solutions, developing proposals and participating in sales presentations.  .

 

The candidate should have demonstrated successful management experience with a team of developers in a full lifecycle software development project. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including directing work of contracting staff. All candidates must have excellent communication skills and written skills with project write-ups and technical documentation. Candidates will be required to demonstrate examples of prior written work that have been completed in this area. 

 

  Required Skills: 8-10 years of total IT experienceTechnical Leadership experience working on multi-tiered/SDLC application development projects in J2EE, Java, .Net Ability to lead a team successfully through a project completion SQL Server and/or Oracl experienceRational Unified Process (RUP) experience preferableWeb Development (ASP or ASP.Net or JSP)Understands and has utilized project methodologiesAbility to work well with clients and manage client relationshipPortal Development/Deployment (BEA Aqualogic/Plumtree or Sharepoint) ExperienceAbility to travel up to 25%.

 

Desired Skills: PMP Certification (not required)   B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical engineering, or other computer related degree is required Consulting experience

 

 

Location: Skokie, IL (Chicagoland area)
