Accountabilities:Follett Technology Solutions and International Group (FTSIG) is a group of three Follett Business Units employing technology solutions to the K-12 market both domestically and internationally. FTSIG Business Units include Follett Software (www.follettsoftware.com), Follett Digital Resources (www.fdr.follett.com) and Follett International (www.fint.follett.com). The Director of HR Client Services and staff will work closely with FTSIG Business Units to understand and translate FTSIG strategic thinking and plans into HR solutions that will drive human capital improvement and Business Unit effectiveness. The ideal candidate is not only a strategic thinker, but also someone who can partner with the various disciplines and functions across FTSIG and translate strategic thinking into pragmatic solutions and work with business partners to implement those solutions. Reporting to the Director of HR Strategic Partners will be 3 HR Strategic Partners.

Leading, developing, coaching and mentoring the Follett group HR Strategic Partners staff to leverage HR expertise across FTSIG Business Units.

Identify and assess present and future human capital needs and leverage HR solutions across FTSIG for necessary improvement and effectiveness around but not limited to:
Organizational design and developmentPerformance improvement and goal alignment (including leverage performance management processes and tools) Change management initiativesIdentify and implement Individual and team Training/Development for core and cultural competenciesSuccession PlanningDisciplinary actions and proceduresCounsel and coachingChampion associate relations initiatives to optimize associate development and productivityOptimize collaboration across teams and fostering mutual respectSupporting the rollout of any Corporate HR initiatives

What you bring to our winning team:
Bachelors degree in HR or Business. Masters degree in Organizational Development is a strict requirementAt least 8 years in an HR management or an organizational development (OD) role. HR experience in a technical or PSO organization preferred. Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into sound HR practices. A strong OD background is critical for this role10-25% travel
