Or client is currently seeking a Director of Product Strategy

 

POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for identifying, analyzing, developing and directing strategic business initiatives for new product development, markets / sales focus, new channels, professional service opportunities and relationships both internally and externally.  The position also develops third party relationships, analyzes the role of third party products, and manages the integration or inclusion of / with business partner products within our clients products.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops product strategies based on market / industry trends, client feedback, analyst information

 

Responsible for new product development (including packaging products) and associated 'go to market' strategies to achieve stated revenues and market share objectives.


Works with third parties to benchmark programs and research and bring best-practices in house.

 

Maintain a focus on client retention and customer satisfaction by practicing continuous service excellence.

Works with cross-functional teams, other departments and third parties to develop revenue and profitability models, analysis and comparisons to determine the appropriate strategy for various product development activities and market opportunities.

Responsible for strategic business planning functions and supervision of staff.

 

Develop and direct short and long term strategic business initiatives.

Performs other duties as required.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, computer information systems, and/or related field required. MBA preferred.


Job Related Experience:
Minimum of twelve years of work-related experience in which at some point you were accountable for all actions and decisions made for a department or group; acted as a major influence in resource allocation decisions and had authority to commit their own resources and take action without the approval of others. Experience with more than one of the following disciplines is required: Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Sales Force Automation (SFA), Business Intelligence (BI) or Data Warehousing.Proven track record in product / software development that stressed third party integration, quality, and ease-of-use.

 

Banking exp. a MUST


Management Experience: At least five years of experience in a management role.
