This position will be highly visable and be a vital part of this organizations continued IT growth. This is the crown jewel of my clients system with over 400 beds and is rated as one of the nations top 50 hospitals.The need to hire this a Director of Regional Information Systems and Program Management comes from a growing IT department and This individual will need to have outstanding leadership and communication skills along with a strong history of management in a large healthcare IT environment. This individual will be working with systems such as McKesson, Epic, Peoplesoft, Oracle, and internally developed systems. This key individual will be working in conjunction with the CIO and other IT Directors to help improve the quality and work processes.Some of the other key attributes this individual will be responsible for include Project Management Designation, Management of Services, Training, Operation Efficiency, Designation of Process and Procedures, Program Management, and Goal setting. Qualifications  MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  Bachelors degree and a minimum of five years of experience with IS project management, plus such technical, and/or administrative experience as is relevant.  Demonstrated leadership experience in at least two of the following (relevant) areas: technical, clinical practice and/or administrative experience.  Strong interpersonal skills required. Advanced degree preferred.
