This position comes with it the responsibility of  managing a team of Quality Assurance Software Engineers to ensure the highest level of Quality across Interop product lines.  The Director of Software Quality Assurance will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Technology.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:·  Provides full Quality assurance controls for all Interop produced products including   Design and implementation of product testing software Design and implementation of product testing documentation·   Manages a team of Software Quality Assurance engineers to ensure on time and error free delivery of Interop software and platforms.·   Works closely with the Director of Software Development to identify and correct software defects.·   Works closely with the Director of Product Management to ensure accurate product release timelines. Candidates are required to have:·  A BS or MS in Computer Science, MIS, CIS or related field.·  5+ years of management experience.·  5+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance.·  Familiarity with the wireless industry.·  Firm understanding of TCI/IP and networking technologies.·  Knowledge of SS7·  Exposure to some combination of C/C++, Ruby, or Perl.Preferred Skills and Education:·   Experience with the use of Techtronics SS7 test equipment.·   Experience with of ethereal/wireshark Development at Interop Technologies is done in a high energy, team-based environment.
