Documentum Systems Admin/Developer

Job description: Documentum ** Systems Administrator

Candidate should have hands on experience in installing and Configuring Documentum in a WebSphere Application Server environment; installing and configuring Documentum Content Server; assisting in server sizing; administering Documentum 5.x using the DA application; installing & configuring Fast indexing server/agent; automating scripts and job management for Documentum on an Windows Server platform.


Skills:

- Required administration skills include starting and stopping processes, Job Management, Server sizing, Federations, DFC, Docbase and DocBroker understanding and administration; ACLs and LDAP authentication and authorization configuration. Applicants must have Documentum development skills, including DFC, BOF, WSDL and overall J2EE Skills. Applicants must have 2-3 years of experience supporting Documentum with WebSphere Application Server (preferred).
- Two to three years experience with Documentum 5.2 and 5.3 is required.
- OmniRim, Brava exposure preferred.
- Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to work as a part of a team that supports a large enterprise infrastructure.

Documentum Developer

Support critical business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of Documentum systems. This will include investigation and resolution of production issues, development and testing of system enhancements, and participation in Documentum and Documentum-related upgrades and infrastructure management.

- Perform Documentum software development and maintenance tasks assigned under the guidance of client management. These tasks may include but not be limited to:
- Production support of an installed Documentum system.
- Work with technical staff, including network engineers and database administrators, to analyze and improve system performance.
- Update design documentation, if required as part of correcting production issues.
- Development and implementation of new business functionality.
- Develop technical design based upon requirements specifications.
- Develop software applications, using the Documentum tools that fulfill the requirements specifications and conform to the technical design.
- Perform unit-level testing of developed software applications.
- Correct issues found during system and user acceptance testing.
- Create other technical documentation, including user and administrator guides and configuration management plans.
