Dynamic Project Manager

Project Manager

 

The Project Manager will be responsible for and oversee the coordination and completion of projects.  He/she will set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of projects.  In addition, prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects.  The candidate we select must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures, and rely on their extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in this role.  



Key Responsibilities:

 

Ø Project Management for Corporate IT Projects.

Ø Project Status Reporting.

Ø Software Implementation Delivery.

Ø Software upgrade/enhancement delivery.

Ø Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance.

Ø Documentation.

Ø Training.

Ø Work with 3rd party consultants during project implementations.

Ø Disaster Recovery Testing.

 

 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  5+ years experience with midsized projects.

  Understanding of the PMI/PMP process.

  Knowledge and understanding of business requirements.

 4-7 years experience in a Project/Program Management function with a strong understanding of Project Management principles.

 Strong technical knowledge of Applications and full cycle Development processes.

 Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate functional material to end users and upper management.

  Excellent communications and presentation skills.

  Business degree required.

  PMI certification is highly desirable.
