Job description:

We are looking for an individual for our Valencia office, to participate in the analysis, design, documentation, and testing of enhancements to our web-based e-commerce system. This candidate will work with applications that span the entire supply chain from end user to OEM manufacturer. The primary function of this candidate will be working with our Web Development and Database team to design and document and help manage E-Commerce application through the systems development life cycle (SDLC). The need to enhance and improve information management between the business and the technical development staff is essential to this position. 

 

Experience:

This candidate should have 5+ years experience in maintaining and developing documentation for business or technical application management, understand Web Based Application processes and offer suggestion on how to improve them. Coordinate IT staff meetings and projects for production delivery. Gather and document detailed requirements that can be passed to an application development team. Documentation of application workflow based on business requirements document. Work with quality assurance to assist with testing and training of application development project or end user training. Update & maintain spreadsheet document with task and status. 

 

Communication:Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required Must be comfortable communicating in a team environment Must be able to communicative effectively with upper management and cross departmental staff. Written communications skills will include understanding and writing system, business and database documentation.

 

Responsibilities:Project coordination (PM, QA, Customer Support, Dev Team)Documentation Application and SystemU/I review of consistent processingDaily task follow-up with dev teamWork with programmers to document detailed requirementsDocument application work flow processAssist with managing change management spread sheet

 

Education:

Candidate should have a BS Degree in related field.

 

Technical / Organization Skills:Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills Self starter Able to work on projects as part of a team or independently.

 

Tools must be proficient in: MS Word MS Excel
