EDI System Analyst - Development/Support

We are currently seeking an EDI Claims Analyst to work in our Atlanta, GA, facility.  This position will assist clients, in the identification of issues and general problems or challenges, and/or implement recommended changes.

Works with Development on Claims/ERA and RTS issues

Second tier support for Claims/ERA and RTS clients

Resolve complex client claims/ERA and RTS issues
Subject matter experts and resource for support, I&T, sales, QA and Documentation 15%
Writes /research specifications for Claims/Billing/ERA and RTS enhancements and regulatory changes

Required:

o Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures
o Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
o Excellent English language, oral and written communication skills

o Dedication to excellent Customer Service
o Knowledge of NSF or ANSI X12 formats including 837 (professional, institutional and dental) and 835
o Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
o Strong communication and analytical skills


 

 Preferred:

o Posses in depth knowledge of the ANSI X12 format including 835 and 837
Professional and Institutional Formats
o Experience with Payers or Clearinghouses
o Proven experience in Software Implementation
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications
o SQL Server Experience

o Basic Structured Query Language skills
o Knowledge of physician billing requirements (fee-for-service, ASC, provider-based, CHC)
o Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent working experience
o Healthcare IT experience
