This position is responsible for providing technical and operational support in the development and on-going production processing of financial systems software and procedures; performs analysis, design, programming, and implementation of solutions needed to support the information needs for reporting and operations of Financial and Management Accounting; supports the production processing of Finance database systems; provides data management for EIS, business unit management reporting, profitability analysis, and reporting (customer, product, and organization); develops, implements and supports the integration of data from a variety of sources for accounting operations and accounting applications and for end-user presentation systems.QualificationsThorough knowledge of accounting systems, accounting principles, and financial concepts.Working knowledge of data administration, internal control design, and SQL processing.Working knowledge of bank operations and database administration.Working knowledge of telecommunications, client/server, or mainframe access.Effective interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills.Excellent analytical ability and organizational skills.This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2-3 years experience in database management systems or file processing system (database preferred) or 8-9 years of work related experience.
