Educational K-12 Textbook Publishing Sales Representative

Our client is one of the largest and most respected educational publishing companies in America. They have asked us to locate a sales representative to sell a full line of textbooks, reference books, online products and educational software to K-12 school libraries in Illinois and Iowa. This is an existing territory with many established accounts with which the company already has a strong client relationship. The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree 2 or more years of successful educational publishing sales experience, technology sales experience or similar experience selling to schools or libraries, with a documented track record of success as evidenced by stack rankings, awards and commendations. Strong communication skills are required. The successful candidate can expect to earn $88-121K the first year, based on a starting salary of $48-61K plus an annual bonus that adds an average of $40-60K per year, but could be even higher based on personal performance, as the top reps make $150-200 per year. In addition, you will receive a generous car allowance, all travel expenses, an excellent benefit package, and outstanding opportunities for advancement into sales management or marketing in one of the finest companies in the country.
