We are looking for an Outside / Field Sales Representative, working out of a home office, to develop and execute an aggressive sales plan to sell bulk, grade-level licenses to private schools.
You will be responsible for phoning guidance counselors and computer teachers to sell our service as an important tool for their college-bound students, and an offering of value to student’s parents.
We are seeking an aggressive, hungry, motivated and driven sales representative only- the position is a ‘Hunter/Foot Soldier position’. Your job is to successfully communicate our value proposition, setup a telephone demonstration session to present our product and CLOSE the deal. You should be articulate, have an excellent closing ability, and the desire and drive to sell persuasively, persistently and confidently to educators and school administrators.
Simply put: You will setup appointments, demonstrate the software product and CLOSE the deal by GETTING A VALID PURCHASE ORDER.
To develop rapid and deep market penetration, we are offering commission in excess of 60% on a commission-only basis. Only serious, aggressive experienced and hungry sales experts need apply.
Responsibilities/Requirements:Responsible for selling to our current list of private schools.Initiate and make sales calls to prospective guidance counselors, technology teachers and administrators.Use effective sales techniques to meet and/or exceed agreed upon sales goals. Generate orders by making sales and product demonstrations over the telephone.Experience selling educational products, a PLUS but not required as long as you are sharp, very articulate and have the ability to sell educational software products.
Required Skill set:Superior sales aptitude. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & interpersonal). Good listening skills.Highly motivated, disciplined self-starter, results-driven, focused, goal oriented, detail oriented and the ability to work independently and sales skills to be a closer The ability to confidently relate with high profile, district administrators in the education field is critical. You must know how to close the deal - PERIOD!!
