We’re looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer who;Can manage a highly talented team of 4-6 SDEs (coach and grow reports, foster positive and productive work environment, etc.)Leads the team in conceptualizing, designing and implementing various technologies and servicesHas strong design and problem solving skills, and excellent C/C++ coding / debugging skillsThinks strategically and tactically about technical and cross-functional issuesSuccessfully deals with ambiguous problems and can make solid progress when the solution is not well definedSome bonus areas of knowledge that would be cool but not necessary include: Windows CE or other embedded operating systems, experience with navigation, spatial index, keyword/full text search, web services products/technologies, and has a passion for improving user experience.
