Description:Eaton Corporation located in Raleigh, NC has an opening for Embedded Software Programmer-New Product Development.This position is responsible for working with New Product Development in order to create/use software to increase service productivity and quality while decreasing service warranty and contract costs.- Create tools that enhance product knowledge and reparability skills.- Use/develop software in order to Develop intuitive service and support capabilities- Provide field feedback to NPI Teams to improve new product design- Maintain a working relationship with product development groups- Review of all Engineering Change Notices for all new products as they pertain to firmware releases- Consult with Product Support Specialists on the implementation of Field Service Bulletins for existing product support.- Develop, maintain, and enforce product service requirements with product teams.- Prepare field organization to accept new products including sharing knowledge of new products with training department and technical support.If interested, please apply online at www.eatonjobs.com indicating salary requirements/history.
